Release No. 7

Liverpool Street
Cask Ref. 444

This single cask release drawn from an EX-PEDRO XIMENEZ CASK celebrates Liverpool Street station.

Liverpool Street station is the sixth busiest on the London Underground network. It opened in 1875 as part of the Metropolitan Railway. Built as a dual-level station, it also serves as a major London railway terminus for commuter trains from the east of England. The station features several memorials and sculptures dedicated to the Second World War and is located close to the iconic skyscraper, The Gherkin.

NOSE: Decadent layers of sticky toffee pudding and indulgent Black Forest cake mingle with sherry-soaked berries, fresh tobacco leaves, and supple leather.

PALATE: Opulent and fruit-laden, with hints of festive cake, rich toffee, espresso, and velvety dark chocolate. Spiced cherries, ginger, and clove emerge, complemented by a touch of balsamic glaze.

FINISH: Sweetness from the sherry, accompanied by earthy leafiness and a whisper of soft chocolate.
