Bank & Monument Cask Ref. 664/58

Peated Single Cask Release

Cask Type: Pedro Ximenez

No. of bottles 309

57.8%abv/70cl

This distinctive peated single cask release has been additionally matured in a PEDRO XIMÉNEZ CASK and celebrates Bank & Monument station.

Bank station opened in 1900 as part of London's early deep-level Tube network. It later linked with the neighbouring Monument station, forming a single underground complex connecting multiple lines and the DLR at the heart of the City. The area is home to notable landmarks, including the Monument to the Great Fire of London and the statue of James Henry Greathead, honouring the engineer behind the system's tunnelling innovations.

NOSE: Fresh and expressive, with orange zest, Jaffa cakes, ripe blackberries, and a gentle thread of smoke intertwined with hints of liquorice.

PALATE: Creamy and sweet, with overripe figs and tobacco leaf. Tropical mango emerges alongside charred hazelnuts and a subtle coconut oil richness.

FINISH: Long and evolving - initially sweet before drying into orange peel bitterness, with creamy dark chocolate and a faint earthy smokiness.

Lines: Central, Circle, District, DLR, Northern, Waterloo & City
