Farringdon Cask Ref. 401
Single Cask Release
Cask Type: Ex-Bourbon
No. of bottles 258

This exceptional single cask release has been fully matured in an
EX-BOURBON CASK and celebrates Farringdon station.
Farringdon station first opened in 1863 as part of the world's oldest underground railway and now serves as a key interchange linking the London Underground, Thameslink and the Elizabeth line. The area has long been associated with Smithfield Market, the largest meat market in the UK and Europe. Local craft heritage is reflected in the station's design, where diamond-pattern motifs reference Hatton Garden's jewellers and a memorial honours Edward Johnston, creator of London Transport's iconic typeface.
NOSE: Poached apples and soft stone fruits followed by burnt caramel and toffee apple sweetness. Fresh-cut grass, with light floral tones, gentle oak, and a touch of white pepper.
PALATE: Dry spiced almonds, quickly opening into an explosion of tropical fruit - pineapple and coconut shavings. Sweet, vibrant, and fresh in character.
FINISH: Dark chocolate fudge lingers alongside toasted almonds, with a warming, slightly nutty fade.
Lines: Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan
