This remarkable single cask release has been additionally matured in a RUBY PORT CASK and celebrates Marylebone station.
Marylebone station opened in 1899 as the terminus of the Great Central Railway and is known for its calm, elegant character. It has become a popular filming location, most famously featured in The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night. Nearby, the historic Old Marylebone Town Hall hosts wedding ceremonies that draw visitors from around the world. The station sits close to Regent's Park, including its well-known rose garden, adding to the area's distinctive charm.
NOSE: Richly sweet and inviting, with raspberry confiture, succulent prunes, and sultanas. Layers of cherry chocolate add depth.
PALATE: Full-bodied with a rich mouthfeel. Notes of cherry Bakewell tart dominate - almonds, marzipan, and jam - elevated by a gentle zing of fresh ginger and cinnamon spice.
FINISH: Medium in length, carrying a lingering cherry sweetness, balanced by subtle oak and soft tannins.
