Tower Hill Palo Cortado Cask Ref. 302/13

Single Cask Release

No. of Bottles 348

58.7%abv/ 70cl

This exceptional single cask release has been additionally matured in an PALO CORTADO SHERRY CASK and raises a toast to Tower Hill Station.

Opened in 1967, the present-day Tower Hill station is located east of its original location on Mark Lane. The entrance to station is mere metres away from the largest remaining segment of London Wall – the Roman defensive wall which once surrounded the historic City of London. Rich with London history, the station is situated just to the north of the Tower of London moat and a stone’s throw away from Tower Bridge – one of London’s most iconic sights.

NOSE: Delicate dried slices of apricot and orange join richer sherry-led spices whilst white chocolate and caramel are livened by vanilla and white pepper

PALATE: Bright apple and citrus fruits are further enriched by toffee, caramel, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg whilst gently charred oak sits with espresso beans

FINISH: Coffee and walnut cake invigorated by tangy cask spices
