This outstanding peated single cask release has been fully matured in an EX-BOURBON CASK and celebrates Whitechapel station.
Whitechapel station opened in 1876 and today serves London Underground and Overground, as well as the Elizabeth line, as a key East London transport hub. The area is rich in history, famously linked to Jack the Ripper and Victorian Whitechapel. The station reflects its local community, with signage in both English and Bengali highlighting the area's Bangladeshi heritage. The nearby Whitechapel Gallery contributes to the area's cultural and creative character.
NOSE: Burnt butter and sweet toffee lead, hints of white pepper, light dried fruits, and a delicate ashy peat note.
PALATE: Creamy and sweet, with burnt caramel and vanilla richness. Roasted pineapple and fresh lemon zest, alongside a gentle peppery spice.
FINISH: Medium length, with raw almonds and soft cocoa notes, fading into a subtle smoky dryness.
